Kavic

Kavic arrived at NCCR in mid-November after he was discarded by a breeder who had no further use for him. He is an 8-year-old neutered male Husky. He is quite friendly and loves attention from people. He also knows how to walk on-leash, and is enthusiastic about playing with his toys – he always has a ball in his mouth! He will need work on house training, but catches on quickly with supervision and consistency. Typical of his breed, Kavic can be quite vocal at times, and he enjoys digging a good hole to lie down in when it’s warm outside. He may be able to get along with other friendly dogs if introduced very gradually 1-on-1, but may do best as the only dog in the home. If you think you might be interested in adopting, your first step should be to complete an  Adoption Application found at caninerescue.org. *After you have completed your application, you will get a confirmation that we have received your application. It takes a lot of time to process the applications, so we ask for your patience while we do so. If you see that the dog you were interested in has been adopted it means there were many applications for that dog and we did not get as far as processing your application before a home was found. Potential adopter must be able and willing to travel to the Rescue to meet the dog they are interested in. *PLEASE double check all of the phone numbers that you provide as if they are incorrect, we will be unable to process your application. Please also let your references know that someone from NCCR will be calling them.
