Kato is an energetic puppy who was found as a stray with her brother and is believed to be approximately 5 months old as of the end of April. He has had his first set of vaccinations and has been microchipped and is booked to be neutered near the end of May.
Kato has adjusted well into his foster home. He seems to have an outgoing personality and will make a great pack leader. He can be nervous when meeting other dogs at first but in a short time warms up to them and will play with them if the other dog wants to or will ignore them if they don’t want to play. When Kato first came to my house he was scared of my cats but now likes to interact with them by trying to play with them. Housetraining is going very well and he is quickly on his way to being housebroken. Kato sleeps on the floor in my room at night and is kenneled in the day when left alone. He will be a large dog that will have the beautiful Husky thick coat that will need weekly brushing. Kato would love a family who hikes or could make a great running partner for someone!
Adoption Application
NEW HOPE DOG RESCUE is not a shelter. Our dogs are placed in loving foster homes. WE NEED FOSTER HOMES TO HELP MORE DOGS - CONTACT US TODAY!!!
Definitions:
Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)
On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home for up to 2 weeks before the adopters need to commit to keeping the dog. We want to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! We allow this option for everyone except very long distance adoptions (too far to drive).
Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we have the final word. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!ent with this boy.
