Sweet 17 lb. shy Katie Dasch/mix, so sweet needs a family. C.H.S. This is Katie, she is a very sweet but shy girl. She came from a puppy mill and was not treated well. I have fostered Katie since December and she has really come out of her shell. She loves going outside in the sun and she loves napping. She also really likes getting a bath and even doesn't mind me clipping her nails. She needs some one who will show her unconditional love and who will be patient with her. Katie doesn't know how to play or just be a dog, so it would be great if she had a calm dog that she could learn from, she might do better with a male. She does like to snuggle on the couch and fall asleep on your lap. (she feels more comfortable to approach people when they are sitting). She is still working on walking on a leash, it is a little difficult because she is nervous. Katie doesn't mind car rides and doesn't seem interested in bothering cats. She weighs 15-17lbs. Her adoption fee includes all shots, worming, heartworm prevention and spay, she is so so sweet but also needs a lot of love and patience, hardly barks and not a mean bone in her.
