My Story

Our next transport date will be Friday/Saturday August 16th and 17th. Please see below for pick-up locations. Kane is a male dog who is about 7 months old. He is friendly and easy to love! He is currently being fostered with a family who has children ranging from 6 months old to 13 years old. He is good with the baby, toddlers and older children. Kane lives on a farm with other dogs, chickens, pigs, horses and cows. He gets along with everyone! He loves to run around and investigate new smells, but he also loves to snuggle up and have his belly rubbed. He is currently working on his leash training. Kane and his brother and sister came to us when a concerned citizen called us about some pups who were dumped out on the side of the road close to where she lives. We went and loaded them up and they started on their journey to find the safe, loving forever families that they deserve. Kane has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on flea and tick prevention. We cannot do meet and greets with the puppies. The transport trip is hard and long and it's too long for a puppy to be in a vehicle if he had to come back to Texas. We do not take deposits. All adoption fees are paid in person at pick-up. . If you are interested in one of our dogs, please do not delay completing the application. There is always a high interest in our puppies and applications are processed for approvals as received when at all possible. Using the link or copying and pasting the link is the quickest way to get the application to us. https://form.jotform.com/222705071398154 The total adoption fee $300 includes transport to designated locations: Collinsville, Springfield, Bloomington, Ogelsby, Roscoe IL. Sun Prairie, Fon Du Lac, and Sheboygan, WI. *St Louis area adopters would meet us in Collinsville, Il (this pick-up will be Friday evening). Springfield pick-ups are also Friday evening. **Green Bay and Sheboygan adopters will meet us in Fon Du Lac.. ***Joliet and Davenport area adopters will meet us in Ogelsby or Roscoe, IL. ****MILWAUKEE _ we don’t have a Milwaukee stop this time but do have 3 stops in WI and will be stopping in Roscoe, IL. Most of our puppies will travel with two rounds of vaccines and sometimes three. Occasionally we will not have had them long enough for the second round. You will receive vaccination records for your puppy prior to transport. Our puppies less than 6-8 months old will not be spayed or neutered and the cost of out of state surgery is not included in our adoption fees. Spaying and neutering is an adoption contract requirement that it will be done by the puppy's first birthday. This will be at the expense of the adopter. Atlanta Texas Area Spay Neuter Project is a 501c3, proceeds go back to spaying and neutering dogs for low-income families in the Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana area and the care of puppies and dogs that we take in. If needed, we assist low-income families with emergency vet expenses for their current pets. All of our dogs will be located in Texas in foster care until adopted. We cannot guarantee breed. We do the best we can based on the appearance of the pup and the mother if she is known to us. We rarely know the father of the puppies and litters of puppies can have more than one father. In other words, the litter can be full of half siblings with different fathers for the puppies. Visit our Facebook page: Atlanta Texas Area Spay/Neuter Project
