Kali

(Since there was some question on the parent who wasn't the American Bulldog, Kali had a DNA test done. The other parent appeared to have been an English Bulldog. There was so little of any other breed, that no other breed showed up on this DNA test.) Kali's birth date is January 5, 2009 and she weighs about 55 pounds. Kali has lived in homes with children and has done well (although kids about 9 or older would be best because of her energy leveI), other dogs (including a little Pug with whom she played very well) and a cat. We're told that while she's good playing with other dogs, she can entertain herself, too, playing with toys. She is definitely house-trained although you need to keep an eye on her to see if she goes to the door; with either noticing her cues, or letting her out on a schedule there are no problems. She also does well crate-trained when she has to be left alone. She is a quick learner and a kind-hearted, relaxed dog who loves attention, of course, and affection. A real athlete, Kali will, however, jump over a 6' fence if she wants out. Obviously, she enjoys being out and about but is a little shy initially, so you'd need to be patient with that. She loves rides in the car and belly rubs win her over with people that are new. She really is such a sweet girl, resilient and will adjust fine in a new home with love and attention. Please give Kali a chance; she's a beautiful dog, inside and out.
