My Story

Meet Kade! He’s a super dog, very mellow and gets along well with the other dogs and the cats. He keeps sniffing the cat in his foster home like he’s too small to be a dog but he smells like one! Kade likes to stay outside in a securely fenced yard during the day but comes in at night to sleep in the master bedroom with Mom & Dad. He has shown no signs of food aggression even though one of his foster brothers keeps going around and eating out of everyone else’s bowl. The beauty of a Great Pyrenees can take your breath away, but they are unique dogs which require dedicated owners who have thoroughly researched the traits of the breed. Feel free to visit our website at www.nepyresq.org for information to start your journey!
Northeast Pyrenees Rescue only sponsors dogs from New England, New York and New Jersey for placement in homes in our region. If you are interested in meeting Kade, please complete our application at http://www.nepyresq.org/adopapp.htm. Please include any questions in the comments field of the application. Keep in mind that we are a volunteer organization and encourage serious inquiries only.
