My Story

Meet Juno, the adorable 8-month-old Staffordshire Terrier mix who is stealing hearts with her timid and shy nature. Despite her initial reservations, Juno is a gentle soul who shows no signs of aggression or has ever even snarled in our care. Her sweet demeanor and loving personality make her a perfect companion for those looking for a loyal and affectionate furry friend. She was an owner surrender. The previous owner stated that she was agressive and was going to euthenize her. We had our vet take her in and test her before she was put to sleep. There were no signs of aggression. When asked to see a photo of the supposed bite, they stated that it was 2 weeks prior and already healed. From what we gather, there was a male in the household that was being rough with her. She has yet to show any signs of anger or biting. She has been tested with several men and women, dogs, and cats. She can cower in fear but she never negatively reacts. It is safe to say, we are glad we stepped in to save her life. She was worth it. Juno may be a bit shy at first, but once she warms up to you, she is a bundle of love and joy. Her friendly and sociable nature makes her a hit with everyone she meets. She is learning basic commands. When she gets excited, she will jump on you. It is not relentless, but occasional. We were told from the previous owner that she is not housetrained. She has yet to have a real accident in the house or her kennel. She will tinkle when she is fearful further confirming that her previous owners were mistreating her. With patience and consistency, she is making great progress and is on her way to becoming a well-behaved and obedient companion. Juno is also crate trained, which is a valuable skill that will help her feel safe and secure in her own space. If you are considering adopting a sweet and loving pup like Juno, you are in for a treat. Her timid nature may require some time and patience to build trust, but the bond you will form with her is truly special. Whether you are a first-time pet owner or an experienced caregiver, Juno's gentle spirit will bring warmth and joy to your home. Juno is more than just a pet; she is a member of the family waiting to be welcomed into a loving home. Her timid nature only adds to her charm, making her a unique and special companion PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT: Completed applications take precedence over inquiries.
