A note to those looking at CPR. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. Our job is to find those someone's. Juniper is up to date on vaccines for her age. Juniper's mom is Pearl, a beautiful cream moyen-sized poodle. Dad is a man of mystery. Juniper has curly soft hair as a baby. Without knowing her full heritage, we cannot guarantee that she is hypoallergenic. Juniper will be ready for her forever home the week of July 1st. We are accepting applications to adopt now. Weight: 3 lbs and growing - based on her current weight, she is estimated between 24-28 lbs when full grown Height: 6 in and growing - we estimate she will be between 16-18 inches when full grown Spayed/Neutered: No. Due to age and weight, Juniper is not spayed. She will be adopted on a spay/neuter addendum that requires you to spay her at your cost and provide proof of spay within 9 months. Adoption Fee: $399 Fence needed? Yes What kind of home would be best for me? Pearl is a very young dog looking for an experienced owner with the time required to properly raise and socialize a puppy. She requires a home with another young, active dog in the home for play and socialization. She requires a home that can offer her consistency and routine, and where someone is home more than they are away. Our ideal puppy owners have someone in the home that is home during the day (work from home, stay at home parent, active retiree). Due to her size, Juniper will not be placed in a home with children under 8. Puppies are always in need of a canine friend, they love to run and play with one another. Puppies are active, agile little babies, they need homes that are ready to tire them out both mentally and physically, so a fenced in yard will be required. Puppies are generally very well rounded dogs, they do not meet strangers and would do well with a nice big family or a single owner! What matters most to a puppy is a happy and excited owner ready to take on loving and training their new puppy! When raised around cats, with proper boundaries, puppies do very well. If you expect your puppy to get alone with your feline buddy, it's important to start socializing the puppy with the cat as soon as you can! What is my personality like? Juniper is the bold explorer. Her tail wags in excitement at everything she sees! She has learned to play with toys. She will love a life of outings and adventures. PUPPY POLICY: Thank you for carefully considering the addition of a puppy to your family. Puppies can be a joyous experience, but they can also be a tremendous amount of work. Since our goal is to place each of our dogs in forever homes, we are especially cautious with puppies. We like to stress 3 major things when considering a puppy vs. an adult dog: 1) many adult dogs are well bred, well trained dogs who find themselves in rescue through no fault of their own, 2) adult dogs are eager to share their love and bond with their new family, and 3) puppies will always require far more time, energy, and training than an adult dog. Our ideal puppy adopters are: -experienced dog owners with a solid record of excellent vet care of their previous pets -scheduled away from home for no more than 4 hours per day and have another canine companion already in the home -stay at home type of people (work at home, home schoolers, retired, etc) How do I act when I first meet new people? Friendly Other tips and tidbits: Juniper was born on 05/01/2024 House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc. Others here may be a better fit for you. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet.
