The phrase "never judge a book by its cover" definitely applies with big boy Junior. He's a three year old Cane Corso mix that was found running loose and brought to us. <,br>This very thin but tough looking fellow is anything but a tough guy, he's just a big softy. It was somewhat difficult to get photos of him because he just wanted to lean against me to feel safe. He seemed unconcerned about other dogs and just wanted to be comforted. Junior is looking for a caring and responsible owner who understands the needs of a large breed dog. This guy is a real cream puff and he deserves a compassionate owner to help him be safe and healthy again. Besides being 20+ lbs underweight, Junior has some painful looking abrasions on his lower legs. These will heal nicely with normal care. We imagine he's spent most of his life resting on hard or concrete surfaces. He also appears housebroken.
If you're able to give this big guy a good home, please hurry in to meet Junior.
