My Story

JULIETA ... female, German Shepherd - Labrador mix ... 55 lbs, 4 years, black-light brown color, short hair, Spayed and vaccinated, without care or special needs, without experience in cage and cats, sociable with people and dogs, playful, cheerful, intelligent, affectionate, she likes human contact, huggable ... she likes to run, barks at strangers ... She was rescued when she was almost 6 months old, along with her brother Romeo, they followed a man, who tried to hit them to drive them away .... They ran scared .... They only asked for help .... I got them into the car and we went to the vet, they were hospitalized for days .... They were malnourished and dehydrated .. ..were never adopted ? Julieta has lived her entire life in the charge of an excellent rescuer who is also in charge of 17 other dogs. Due to the pandemic, her economic and health situation has been marginalized, so we are looking for a stable, loving and responsible home that can provide that warmth of a family that she has never known. * *—OUT OF TOWN PET —** FOSTERED IN SALTILLO MEXICO AND BEING PREPARED TO TRAVEL TO THE EAST COAST ON OUR CROSS COUNTRY TRIP MEX-USA BY SEPTEMBER 2022 ¡IF ADOPTED ! —** JULIETA FEMALE GERMAN SHEPHERD MIX AGE APROX 4 YEARS APROX WEIGHT 55 LBS —**ADOPTION PREFERENCES: * FAMILIES WITH OPEN CONSCIENCE ABOUT WHAT IS THE RESCUE OF STREET ANIMALS AND THEIR BEHAVIORS OF NEED FOR PROTECTION AND EDUCATION * * *WITH EXPERIENCE IN DOG BEHAVIOR AND TRAINIG BACKGROUND. *HIGH TOLERANCE AND PATIENCE FOR RESCUED DOGS +*“ NOT HOUSE TRAINED “**. **Our big job with rescued pets is to rehab their health, taking them to the vet as many times is require for their vaccines, spay/neuter, surgery, diseases, rehab emotions, attend their necessities such as feeding them, cleaning their common areas, keeping them entertained, safe, healthy and protecting them from any dangerous situation. Our goal is to pair you up with the perfect dog for your lifestyle and family dynamic. The more pertinent information you give us the better we can do this. https://form.jotform.com/210878227621861 2.) Phone / Email interview After we have either approved your application, or if we have more questions to ensure a perfect match, we will schedule a brief phone / email interview when everyone in the potential adoptive household is able to attend. This will be conducted by a ADAC team member and can include the foster of the dog as well. 3.) Home check A member of the ADAC team will visit you in your home or virtually to ensure it is the best fit for the dog you are interested in adopting. 4.) Meet n greet A member of the ADAC team will organize with you and with your prospective pup and the foster home, a virtual meet n greet This video call is for you to meet the pet and for us to make a visual check of your home and meet all your members of your family. Sometimes we also send a volunteer to do a home check in person. 5.) Trial adoption period If, after the meet n greet, the potential adopter and the ADAC team member agree this is a good fit, we will send you an adoption contract. Each dog will have different needs and different trial timelines. During this phase communication with the ADAC team is imperative. You will be given thorough instructions on how to decompress and integrate this particular dog to your home. If you follow all instructions and communicate any issues to the ADAC team and it does not work out your adoption fee will be refunded, minus any non refundable transport fees (if applicable) and the dog will be returned to a foster home. THE ADOPTION FEE WILL BE FINALIZED PRIOR TO TRANSPORT WHICH INCLUDES: *SPAY/NEUTERED *COMPLETE VACCINATION DHPPI, RABIES, BORDETELLA *DEWORMING *ONE MONTH PREVENTIVE ANTI TICK, FLEAS, HEARTWORM TREATMENT (NEXGARD) *HEALTH CERTIFICATE -TRANSPORT FEE (the service will be given by a transport company) WILL BE PAID BY ADOPTER PRIOR TO DEPARTURE OF THE PET, WHICH IS BETWEEN $300-$350 USD DEPENDING ON THE CITY/STATE OF DELIVERY. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT OUR RESCUED PETS ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT TO US. THEY ARE ANIMALS THAT ARE SINTIENT BEINGS WHO HAVE BEEN RESCUED FROM SITUATIONS OF SEVERE ABUSE, AND ABANDONMENT. WE INVEST TIME, MONEY, A LOT OF EFFORT AND EMOTIONAL STRESS FOR THEIR PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL REHABILITATION, WHICH WE DO NOT MAKE ANY MONETARY CHARGE FOR THAT SOCIAL WORK. BECAUSE OF THAT WE TRIED TO DO AN EXHAUSTIVE INVESTIGATION OF THE POSSIBLE NEW FAMILIES OF OUR BELOVED RESCUES. IMPORTANT NOTE: Many of our dogs will receive numerous applications, and we ask for your patience during the process of finding the very best match. Our dogs are fostered in Texas or Saltillo Mexico, but available for adoption in various cities/states.
