My Story

Juan (03-113) is a 2 year old male basset from the shelter in Rome. He is a mostly black, tri-colored boy and is just a tad bit tall - probably has some coon hound in his ancestry. He is full of play and there's still a lot of puppy in him. He loves to greet people by jumping up on them, but he's just being friendly. Juan is a smart boy and is trainable; he just needs the right family. He gets along well with other dogs and with cats who are used to dogs. Juan eats well and is part of the "clean bowl club" - cleaning his bowl in record time. He loves to be outdoors and needs an active family with a fenced yard. Juan is a fun-loving playful guy who really loves people including kids. He LOVEs to have his belly rubbed... will flip right over for it! Even though he is a bit long in the legs and short in the ears, this young guy has a loving heart and needs a home to call his own.
