Hello, my name is Joy, I was saved from the Fritch Tx pound. I jumped into a farmer's truck and did not want to leave because I wanted help, so I got shot in the face, but considering what I have been through I am a very affectionate and gentle dog with a quiet and calm nature. I am an intelligent dog who is very loyal to my humans and I love to snuggle up and smile with them. I am a bit older (5 years) , but I am still playful and love my chew bones and toys. I would prefer to be the only dog in the home, but I love humans, especially older children.
