Josie

Josie is a 3-year-old Daschund Mix, who weights 25 pounds. Josie is a major lap dog and cuddler! She prefers not to be around small kids or noisy houses, so a quite, an adult home is what she is looking for.

At night Josie turns into a Mole, as she burrows under the covers to find a comfortable, warm spot to sleep – it is adorable to watch!

Josie likes to smile and give kisses, Loves toys and likes her walks. I would recommend a lot of toys as she likes to chew.

Josie is housebroke, walks well on a leash and knows basic commands. She is currently living with 2 cats and 2 dogs, whom all she does well with. Josie has been a Momma, most recently to two sons. She is protective, which came from being a momma, she knows that she is Small, but she is tough. Come meet Josie at any one of our Meet & Greets.

$250.00: Puppies 6 months and under
$250.00: Dogs under 30 pounds
$175.00: Dogs over 30 pounds, over 6 months
There will be a $50.00 refund with proof of obedience class.

Adoption fee includes: microchipping, spay/neuter, initial vaccinations including rabies if age appropriate, HW testing for adult dogs over 6 months and deworming, HW preventative and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. ARVSS encourages adoptors to visit their own vet as soon as possible after the adoption.
