This gorgeous senior redhead is Josie! Josie a happy old girl who loves attention and gives you kisses in return. She is a Golden Retriever mix who is about 10 years old & is on the petite side at about 35 pounds. Josie came from a very loving home, however her owner recently passed away.  Thus, she is looking for a calm, loving home to live out her senior years. Josie is good with cats and other dogs. At this stage in her life, she would prefer a more easy-going friend vs. a rambunctious puppy or kitty. Josie still has quite a bit of pep in her step, but also likes to relax and take naps and chills during the day. She also likes her beauty sleep and goes to bed early!! In her new home, Josie will need a quite space of her own where she can feel safe. When resting, she prefers not to be disturbed. Although, if you’ll let her, she would love to share your bed at night. Thunderstorm & loud noises are scary for her, so knowing she has a safe space will help her cope when they occur. She is house-trained and is working to become more comfortable walking on a leash. A fenced yard and minimal stairs are recommended for this gal. Josie such a happy and sweet girl, even though her life was just turned upside down. She soaks up all the attention and will lean into you when you pet her. She also smiles, which is the cutest!
