Jose - adopted

This is Jose! A sweet, quiet little boy, found as a stray. He is a young adult boy who gets along well with the other small dog in the foster home. The foster home says, "Jose actually smiles at you in the morning and he sure loves his scratches. They should all be this easy to look after." Jose is microchipped, vaccinated and booked to be neutered.

Definitions:

Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)

On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home for up to 2 weeks before the adopters need to commit to keeping the dog. We want to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! We allow this option for everyone except very long distance adoptions (too far to drive).

Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we have the final word. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!
