My name is Jonas! You may have come in to visit and not even seen me as I tend to hide in the shadows....staff here says it's because I'm a super hero with a heart of gold. The truth is, I'm a real shy guy and being here is extremely overwhelming for a sensitive soul like mine. No one seems to see past my kennel door and really see me for me. Once I feel safe with my human I will likely bond very strongly and will always look to you for guidance. I'm selective about the canine friends I keep and will need slow introductions to any resident dogs. As far as cats go, I'm NOT a fan and would prefer they stay far away from my social circle. I would really prefer a calm, quiet household that gives me plenty of time to decompress and get used to my new daily routine. Maybe even pepper in a few balls to throw and play with? Chasing a ball an destroying toys seem to be my go to ice breaker. In all honesty, I really need my own super hero; someone who is kind, gentle, will advocate for me, and protect me. In return I will shower you with a love like no other.
