JOLLY RANCHER (Neutered!)

JOLLY RANCHER has been patiently awaiting his turn to be available for adoption. He arrived at the shelter in late April 2024 and has now received his second set of puppy vaccines. He is a delight to watch in action as he plays with his kennel mate, and tries to peek over the top of his kennel to say hi to the dogs in the kennel next door. Staff has listed him as an Australian Shepherd and Catahoula mix and he weighed 20 pounds at intake. Thanks to a partnership between UT and Cumberland County Animal Shelter, JOLLY RANCHER was neutered on June 17. As a result, he can go home the same day he is adopted! Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking a dog collar and leash with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt him. Even better, take a dog crate with you to the appointment. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have adopted! Safety first!
