Personality: She is new to our group and we are just getting to know her. Jolee weighs 35 pounds, she's short and stocky. Her breed is a total guess. She has a lab head, on a beagle body, w/ Spaniel coloring...so take your pic. Either way, she's a GOOD GIRL!!! She plays really well with the other dogs in her foster home, she doesn't bother the cats, and she just wants love! She loves her belly rubbed and curling up next to you. She is the perfect mix of playful and calm. She was quiet in the crate all night. She has shown to be good with all the kids she's met. She is mostly housebroken, she did have one accident. She does smell around a lot on a walk and needs to learn basic commands such as sit, down, come...etc. However, she's treat motivated and will learn quickly. I'll post more as I learn about her since this is all I know in the short time I have had her in my house.
Forever home: Jolee could fit in many situations. She doesn't like to be crated for long periods of time and she likes to sleep in bed w/ me. She also likes dog parks and walks where she can sniff and sniff to her hearts content. If this sounds like something you can accomodate, email me for an application. Thanks for considering a rescue dog!

Waggin' Tails Adoption Information: Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue has a standard adoption fee of $175, or $200 for puppies plus a $50 deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter at six months of age. Our adoption process includes an application, vet reference checks, and a home visit.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check
www.waggintailsdogrescue.org for the dates of our next adoption events. With few exceptions, we show our adoptable animals on Saturdays from 12pm - 3pm at Petco in Novi (on Novi Rd south of 12 mile) or PetSmart in Canton (the northwest corner of Ford Rd and Haggerty Rd). Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group).
Please be kind to our volunteers who have made rescue a second job that they do in their spare time after coming home from full-time jobs. E-mail inquiries will be answered much more quickly than phone inquiries; our phone number is a voice mailbox only.
Thank you for your support of rescue and your interest in a rescue dog!
