Jojo puts the "j" into JOYUL! The 1-year-old black beauty, at a fit 58 pounds, is a beguiling blend of affectionate and active who loves snuggling and cuddling with her fosters, resting her head on them, having her coat brushed and then dancing and prancing delightedly about. She particularly loves playing with other dogs of assorted sizes as well as with any and all toys, and going for walks, walking well on leash. Excellent with children since they match her puppy-like level of energy, Jojo also enjoys taking car rides, especially when the windows are open. Motivated by food and love, she currently knows "sit," "down" and "off," is never crated and is almost fully house-trained to use a doggy door. Only just starting life's journey, Jojo is destined to bring joy to any active and affectionate family that will complete her training, including her commands, and promise to adore her fur-ever. Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.
