My Story

Joey is a handsome boy who would be a lap dog if he could, except he is 66 lbs. He is very sweet and affectionate. He loves attention and will perform all kinds of tricks for it. He does not know his size and is very strong on the leash but otherwise as gentle as a lamb. He is good with other dogs and seems to like cats too. He is about 2 years old. He is all around a great boy that would love a home full of love and space for him to run. We are not sure if he is a Husky or Malamute, but he looks like a pure breed.

This organization is run by volunteers only and we try our best to save as many homeless pets as possible. Since there are only a few volunteers, please understand that we are unable to answer phone calls about the animals. The first step is to fill out an adoption application which you can find on the Pet Rescue website: www.ny-petrescue.org and we will contact you as soon as possible, usually within 5 days. Pet Rescue doesn't have a shelter where you can come and meet the dogs. All showings are by appointment after your application has been approved. If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected] .

If you would like to sponsor a dog, please go to our home page at www.ny-petrescue.org. To sponsor the vet care of a dog, we need $100; to sponsor the transport of a dog, we need $25. Partial sponsorship is always appreciated.
