My Story

NOTE: This is a courtesy posting for Miniature Schnauzer Rescue. Please see their contact information at the end of the discription. Meet our beautiful boy Joey! Although Joey will be 12 on August 3rd he is quite the little character. He loves his 2 mile daily walks and does well on the leash. He is crate trained but should only be in the crate for a maximum of about 4 hours as he will need a potty break. Joey is a social little guy that loves adults, kids and other dogs and doesn't seem to be bothered by cats. Because he is so active and playful, you must be steady on your feet. He follows closely and could be a tripping hazard if you're not aware of him and sure-footed. Joey loves his toys and takes great pleasure in taking them ALL out of his box for play. Joey is in excellent health although because of a history of bladder issues he will need a special kibble diet which is readily available. All of Joey's veterinary records are available and show that he was very well cared for by his former owners who have moved to assisted living. As we all hope to be, Joey is a very active senior with so much love and laughter to give. He is a sweet gentle little boy who will make a great companion.
