Joey

Meet Joey. He's a miniature poodle who is approx. 6 years old. He's been through some tough times in his past but was adopted into a loving home 2 years ago. Unfortunately due to family circumstances they were no longer able to provide him the home they felt he deserved. He's currently in a foster home with another dog. We don't know if he gets along with cats. He has lived with children under 10 years old, however Joey has been through a lot so he'd probably prefer a home without toddlers. Joey needs regular walks and loves to be with people and is happy to lie in his bed while you watch TV, however come bed time he currently perfers to sleep in his owner's bed. His last owner said, "Joe is an extremely affectionate and loyal dog. He wants to be part of all family activities and will find his toys and engage you to play with him." He's not used to being alone for very long, so he'd be best in a home where someone was home a lot of the time or only worked part time. He'd also be best in a detached home with a fenced yard. He's not comfortable in cars and will sometimes get car sick. Can you provide Joey with the life-long home he deserves?
