My Story

Joey is a male Bichon approximately 10 months to a year, approximately 8-10 lbs. Joey is just way too cute. He's a little shy to begin with but when you pick him up, he melts in your arms. He came from a bad situation so he is just learning that there is another life and there are people that will love him like he is being loved in his foster home. He needs to learn house manners. He gets along great with other dogs.

Joey would do best in a home with a companion dog as he takes his queues from them and he is shy. Will also need a home with less activity so he can receive the attention he deserves in order to reinforce housemanners and leash training.

Joey was rescued from a puppy mill and has had respiratory problems and pneumonia. He has now recovered and got the okay from the vet to be available for adoptions. He will need to have an owner who will be willing to take him to the vet regularly to monitor his health. He will be more prone to develop pneumonia in the future. Joey may require a little extra care and attentiveness from his owner, but he is well worth it and will love you forever!
