Joey

Joey is our super sweet and happy disabled pup who's hoping for an amazing forever family. Our vet believes he was born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia which is a disorder of the brain where coordination is impaired. Joey cannot walk or run without the assistance of his wheelchair. He's unable to coordinate all 4 of his limbs to get where he needs to go but does great in his wheelchair. He does enjoy rolling around on the floor with the other dogs and can crawl where he wants to go but he may suddenly flail to the side. He does great with pottying on a potty pad as long as he's kept on a good schedule and has someone who will slide him over as he piddles or hold him up to poo so he doesn't roll in his mess. He sleeps through the night most nights but will do his business within a minute or two if woken up. He also potties right after a meal so we're almost always prepared for a poopy situation. He's such a smart boy and very conscientious of his body. Joey is available for adoption to an adopter with experience in special needs pets. He's also a huge social butterfly so we'd love for him to find a home with another loving pup. Joey adores his big, gentle pittie buddies who let him chew on them and share toys.
