Joe is approximately 12 weeks old in these pictures taken July 21, 2007. He is a sweet little guy, the largest of the litter. Joe loves to wrestle our cats Eddy and Gerty. He is a big love bug! Joe also found out he can swim when he fell into the pool! Big face kisser! He, his brother Dusty, and sister Bella, were left in a box on a driveway on a stormy night in early June.
June 24, 2007 - UPDATE: From the foster parents. The puppies are currently being fostered with 4 cats and 4 dogs, a Jack Russell, Manchester Terrier, Pit Bull mix and Irish Setter. They all get along well and the big dogs tell the puppies when they have had enough. The pups get along with two of the cats and the other two cats just stay away. They all love to play outside in the grass. Every night we walk out to the garden to check the tomatoes.
They are learning to wear collars this week and love their rawhide chew sticks (but only while we are watching!) We are gone 12 hours a day so they do not get outside until evening. However, when we get home they go right outside and potty. I believe they will be housebroken in no time once they have a better routine!
We just can?t say enough about how sweet they are and fun! They constantly entertain us and our other pets. And when they get tired, they pile up on the nearest thing they can call a bed and all go to sleep! Adorable!!
