If you can use an extra special blessing in your life - look at this baby! Jewel is a 12 week old, purebred, female miniature white schnauzer who was born blind. She came from a puppy mill breeder. Breeders could not "sell" her, but would have kept and BRED her many, many times to "earn her keep." After all...a dog does not need to SEE to have puppies!
Because she has been blind from birth, there is no "adjustment" - she is, in her mind, just "normal" to be in the dark....and in our hearts - she is just perfect. We are looking for just the PERFECT home for this Precious Jewel. She is happy, healthy, running and playing with all the other fosters, intrigued by the cats (does not chase, tho), and eats and drinks well. She is content most anywhere...sleeps in a crate at night (for her own safety) quietly. Jewel will follow the sound of your voice, sit on your feet if you stand still, and squeal to be held. Once in your arms, she gives GREAT, soft kisses and snuggles into your face and neck. There are just no words to describe how SPECIAL AND PRECIOUS this baby is!
