Jessie

Jessie is approx 3-5 years old - a mixed breed female. We are unsure of her exact breeding but she is small/medium sized dog measuring 17 inches at the shoulder. She was surrendered with two other dogs because their owner didn't have the time to spend with them. Her two yardmates are now gone, leaving Jessie wishing for a new life of her own. Jessie is a sweetheart who loves to be petted and cuddled. She is very affectionate and will happily sit on your lap. She rides well in a car and has recently taken on a few obedience classes being lead by a young girl approx 12 years old. She is good with other dogs, cats, and is socialized with children. She was an outdoor dog in her previous life but is also good indoors and uses the doggy door at the shelter to do her business outside. She's was used to living on an acreage as an outside dog but may adopt well to being a house dog if she's given a chance to learn house training rules. She'd be a good match for an older lady living on an acreage who'd like a companion dog that is used to being outdoors. Please give this girl a chance at a forever home!
