June 21Update:
Sweet Jelli-bean and her foster mom are heading to the Oregon where Jelli has a new home!
Huge thanks to Shana, her family and her wonderful friends who all helped her take such great care of Jelli-bean.
Also big thanks to Trenant Park Pet Clinic, Dr. Harris and all the staff for helping to get Jelli looking, seeing and feeling her best again. She was found in such bad shape and is now good as new!
Upon arrival:
Jelli-bean, as her foster family has named her, came to TnT after being found in Chilliwack running the streets.
Jelli-bean's eyes were in such bad shape she could barely see when she found her way to us. Her skin was a mess and she was very uncomfortable. She has since had her eyes tucked, is being treated for a minor skin issue that was left to become a major problem, and has been spayed.
Jelli's skin is expected to heal after a few gentle baths and an improved diet. She will soon be able to see much better and will no longer have to deal with sore eyes. Her foster home is taking very good care of her and loves her to pieces.
Jelli seems to be fond of other dogs and is living with two children who are very dog savvy. We are not sure how she likes cats.
Jelli appears to be about 5 years old and is a petite girl.
