Jeff's was adopted from For Our Friends in March. His sad story has a wonderful ending. Jeff's owner died he was left homeless. A kind neighbor contacted us for help. The moment we saw this sweet boy we loved him and we promised him we would find him a wonderful home even though he is 9 years old, and we did. The moment Sherry saw him she knew he was her boy. She was a little fearful because of his age but she decided to go ahead and take him home. We recently spoke to Sherry and she is just singing his praises. Sherry says that he is a wonderful dog and that adopting an older dog has been a very rewarding and happy experience. Older dogs are housebroken, trained and ready to be part of a family. Sherry said that Jeff shows his gratitude for this chance at happiness every single day and she is so glad that he is hers. Please consider an older dog.
