Jax is a wonderful, beautiful Black Lab mix pup who is estimated at 5 mths. of age (6/28/04). Jax came to the shelter as a stray but he has been well-taken care of and is loving and sweet. Jax just wants to be with people all the time and he lives for the day someone will come to the shelter and take him home. Whoever ends up with this boy will have a very loyal, loving companion for years to come. Jax gets along well with the other dogs at the shelter and seems fine around the many cats we currently have there. He is calm enough for children and elderly people but just as suitable for a more active person. He will make some lucky person an ideal pet. He will be around 50 lbs. at full growth.
