You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Java is just the sweetest boy who was removed from the Memphis euthanasia room with little time to spare. This little guy just wants so much to please! He does great in his crate with his people in the room, will cry a bit when they leave, but does settle down and is quiet overnight. Java loves playing with his foster siblings and has even tried desperately to befriend our cats by bringing them his blankets and toys, but cats are just no good at tug of war! He is gentle and takes treats soooo carefully. He still struggles with being on a leash, but is food motivated so training should be easily done with treats. Java doesn't have accidents in the house or crate, as long as he is promptly taken outside when we come home. He will not potty outside if a person is nearby as he just wants all their love, all the time. Consequently, we get out of his sight so he will potty! Java seems to 'fit' his feet, so I expect him to stay in the medium range..He is not big and not small. We have noticed he doesn't bark much and doesn't need much space near your lap, but will fully occupy every corner of your heart. Java would do great in any home, including one with small children, but will definitely do best with another dog-friendly pet in the house.
