Jasper, intact male, 10 weeks old (estimated DOB May 2024), Shepherd/Pitbull mix saved off the streets of Houston with his momma and siblings. We expect this litter to be a medium to larger breed family; Mom is a Pitbull mix and Dad has the shepherd/husky features. The family is currently in a foster home in HOUSTON, TEXAS and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! Meet the one and only Jasper!!! This wolfie looking puppy has a funny personality. This boy loves playing either alone with a squeaky toy or playing tug a war with his littermates. Jasper is feisty and likes to boss the others when they let him. He is also very affectionate and listens when he is corrected . This amazing cute wolfie puppy is a true delight to have around. Jasper is one of three siblings, but he and his brother and sister were raised with another litter of seven. So he has had many extra experiences being one of ten. This handsome boy has soft fur with unique markings. Jasper is amazing inside and out! Jasper is still young, so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization, and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty training and provide daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy when he's old enough. Jasper will be perfect for walks hikes, and bonding with his owners, Don't let this jem get away! Jasper has not been around cats or kids. We always recommend a home with kids who respect and understand animal boundaries. For younger kids, we expect parents who will supervise and help teach appropriate animal manners. Jasper is looking for a home who has an understanding of raising puppies into adulthood. This can be prior experience or someone who will seek support as needed (training, friends/family). Puppies bring so much joy, but also need intentional and committed attention. They need help socializing with new people, other dogs, leash work and basic obedience. We would love to see a home who has breed experience. Puppies under 6 months of age are placed on a spay/neuter contract until they are old enough to be altered. For puppies this age, someone needs to be home more than they are away as crating them for long periods of time is not conducive for their developmental needs. If you work outside of the home longer than 4 hours, please explain who will is available to spend time with this puppy while you are aware. If that information is not included, we will not consider your application. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown.
