Meet Jasper! Hi I'm Jasper. I'm a handsome, strong 5 year old boy with a heart of gold. My foster mom tells me I'm a perfect Great Pyrenees mix who is a devoted guardian but I also can walk like a gentleman on a leash and go in a crate to rest. I never ever have accidents and I like to look clean so I love to lay down and get brushed a couple times a day. I'm a star patient at the vet's office because I'm so nice and handsome. The people at Saving Hope rescued me from wondering the streets as a sad and skinny stray dog. I'm really strong now and I love to do hard jobs. I can go on a long walk, do stair climbs, hill climbs, and rock jumps with my foster mom. I love to watch out for my foster family so I always want to be with them. I I like to guard the home indoors at night in a comfy dog bed. I drool a lot in the heat. I only bark when there is real mischief happening on the foster family property. I always tell my foster mom if there are coyotes roaming or armadillos digging up her garden. I'm not scared of anything! Not even fireworks! It's important that I have a tall secure fence because I like to go on adventures when I'm bored. I'm a friendly chap and I don't mind other dogs as long as they don't bother me and those I'm trying to protect. I have a couple cat friends who I watch out for at my foster home and they are never scared of me because I taught them that I'm just a kind soul in a giant body. I can't wait to settle in to my perfect forever home! Until then, I'll be dreaming of my favorite things- being a hero fighting intruders like bears and coyotes and getting pets and love from the children and people who love me.
