Jason joined PSBR at the end of May, 2008 quite literally the evening prior to his scheduled euthanasia. He is a very good natured little guy who was in desperate need of a bath when he arrived at PSBR. He was recently neutered, and although still a bit swollen, is healing quite nicely. He also had a few teeth extracted.
Jason is a very sweet, gentle, happy little guy who cuddles for just a little while and then wants to lay by your feet instead. He comes when called and follows well. He is a bit wobbly with his back legs due to a congenital defect in one leg that causes him to be pigeon toed. He does not need surgery for this condition and is in absolutely no pain. His condition does not inhibit him as he walks and jogs, and rolls around in the grass (or on the carpet) with his little legs in the air.
Jason is crate trained and sleeps throughout the night. Jason is housetrained, but does tend to mark when first arriving at a new home.
Jason prefers a quieter home with calmer canine siblings (if any present). He will periodically chase the cats in his foster home but for the most part just sniffs them. His reaction to children is unknown at this time.
Jason is a wonderful little man who is looking for a quiet new home and family to spend his retirement with.
