Welcome Jane Doe (Janie) to Cause For Paws Rescue. Sadly, she was tied to a fence pole outside of Tails, they had no room so she found herself at Dekalb Animal Control, then to us. Janie is a very sweet girl. Thought to be about 4-5 years old and acclimating in her foster home she shares with multiple dogs and doing very well, after an introduction to each over the past couple days.
Janie looks as though she had recently had puppies. Appears to be housebroken, crate trained but not a fan of it but doing well free to roam while we're at home. Janie is also learning her boundaries as she likes to roam and look for bones in the yard. Obsessed with bones but we're trying to monitor her only to have bones in a crate for safety reasons with the other dogs, who think she should share.
Janie will be spayed in the next week or so then ready for a home of her own.
All dogs are brought current on their vaccinations up to the point of adoption. Parasite protection is also done with dewormings, flea/tick prevention application, and heartworm prevention. If old enough a heartworm test is done. The spay/neuter and microchip are included in the adoption fee. All our dogs go to their new homes with their collar/leash, dog bed, favorite toy(s), bowls, and some food to acclimate them. For adoption consideration, please fill out an application from our website at (www.causeforpaws.net) Adoption fee is $500 donation. Please also read about our adoption process and requirements on the website. For the safety and convenience of our foster homes and their orphans, we will only consider applicants that are within a 100 mile adoption radius.
