Jani-Bird

Jani is a pure breed Great Dane female. She weights about 130 lbs. She had to be surrendered when her owner had to move to seek employment. She is gorgeous! She is a mellow loving dog great with people and other dogs and cats as well. She loves children. She has been with a 2-yr-old girl. As many large dogs are she is calm, laid back and affectionate. Her coat is shining black and very soft. The Great Dane is a very calm and gentle tempered dog that is loyal to its family and will be strong protector even though they are not an aggressive breed. The Great Dane is a good dog with children. The Great Dane can be a terrific companion dog if properly socialized and worked with from a young age. The Great Dane needs to have lots of time with people and other dogs. The Great Dane is a rather reserved dog with strangers when mature but will also be very playful with the family well into their adult years. They are moderately active. The Great Dane is a natural watchdog and its large size and imposing stare will usually result in strangers leaving the area immediately. If they feel that their family is being threatened they will protect them.
