Jake is a 3 1/2 year old purebred AKC registered Golden Retriever. He is a strikingly beautiful dog who is full of energy, just loves to be w/ people, constantly swishing his big fluffy tail. In true Golden Retriever fashion, he "never met a stranger." He was surrendered to us by his previous owners. He is a playful, energetic, happy, healthy dog, just full of the joy of life. He is completely housetrained, comes when called reliably even off leash, and he will sit and lie down quickly on command.
He can be a little bit pushy w/ large dominant intact male dogs, but gets along just fine w/ gentle large males -- and great w/ all females and all small dogs. We will not adopt him to a home w/ children age 10 or under, and we do require a securely fenced yard for his safety.
