This is from Jake's foster in Minnesota: "Hi my name is Jake. I'm 2 years old and weigh 17 pounds. My foster Mom says I am one of the most handsome boys she has seen! Must be my pretty markings and my adorable nose. I am a Beagle through and love to play with other dogs. I love toys and will chase those weird looking creatures my foster Mom calls squirrels. When they are in the fenced backyard. I also will get up on my back legs to try and look at them if they are in a tree. My foster Mom says it looks like I am a ballerina. I do have the Beagle Bay and will alert you if I see someone. Sometimes when I am just having fun playing, I will bay. I am doing well with picking up on my house training with treats. Oh Boy, do I Love treats!!!! I am also doing well with my crate training. My foster Mom puts me in one when she has to go to work, and I will make noise at first but settle down as I know she will be coming back. She will give me something to do in my crate as well, a chewie or a Kong. I ride nicely in the car and would love to be your adventure buddy. I love going on walks too. I just love to sniff, after all I am a Beagle. After I have had my exercise/play time I would love to hang out and snuggle up with you (My foster Mom says I excel at snuggles). We could watch a movie together or I could help you read a good book. Maybe even one about a Dog Superhero! A canine brother or sister would be great to have to play with and hang out with. A physical fenced yard to get my zoomies in is a must! Some people wear their heart on their sleeve, my foster Mom says mine is on my cute nose. I will find your heart and grab hold and not let go. ?" Jake is up to date on shots, neutered, heart-worm negative and micro-chipped. We arrange free transport to most states.
