My Story

NOTE: The adoption donation of $350 includes already completed spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming & monthly dose of heartworm and flea/tick preventatives JAGO has also been professionally groomed. The retail value of all of these services if performed at a private veterinarian is $650.

JAGO is a most adorable and friendly little guy. He is just 2 years-old and weighs 15 pounds. According to his foster mother, JAGO, is a fun little dog that loves to be loved and be played with. His brown and black coat will need to be groomed every 4-6 weeks to look its best and remain healthy. The cost of grooming is $50 or about $600 per year that should be factored into his care. Animal Alliance does not know why such an obviously great dog turned up in rescue. We can only imagine that some unforeseen event took place. What we do know that whomever brings JAGO home will have an outstanding companion for years to come. A Cairn Terrier mix, this little guy loves to be exercised and a fenced in yard is required. He seems to enjoy the company of other little dogs and will elicit lots of compliments when taken on his daily walks. JAGO will enjoy having a job to do, and could well be a candidate for some agility classes. He is very intelligent, and will learn commands easily when implemented with consistency. This is one great little dog, that is going to be a joy machine in the lives of his new family for years to come.

This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is dewormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

Prior to submitting an application, please see the Animal Alliance Adoption Process for adoption details.

Animal Alliance is not a shelter where all the animals are housed in one location. Animal Alliance is a foster care network and animals are housed in many different locations. If you are interested in adopting a pet, please apply using the online application; applicants who call our phone line will hear a recorded voicemail with this identical message. We adopt many animals each week and meet prospective adopters at various locations so they can meet the animals they are interested in.
