Meet Jager, a male, 5-year-old Chihuahua Mix. He weighs 14 pounds.
Jager arrived at the shelter as a transfer in. He can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but once he warms up, he is super sweet and playful! With a little bit of patience and TLC, Jager would love to be your new best friend!
Jager will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. We do not know how he will do with cats.
Jager is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered, and ready to go home today.
