Jade- In prison training program

Jade is currently in training at the Kinross Correctional Facility. She is due to come out at the end of July/beginning of August. Jade is an appx 1.5 year old blend of husky and shepherd; an active persons delight! Couch potatoes need not apply. She is reported to do well with other dogs and may enjoy living in a multi dog family. We do not know how she responds to cats. Jade loves playing with toys and bounds around in the fenced area like a deer. It’s quite comical to watch. Jade has been crate trained and does well in it when left alone. If your household is ready for a young, active dog, call the shelter at 906 632 2519 to set up an appointment with Jade! Please call for the fastest response as inquiries submitted through FB and Petfinder are not always closely monitored. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is required before bringing Jade home.
