Jada

Meet our ever so sweet Jada! She sadly was dumped in a rural shelter and ended up on a euthanasia list. STAF was notified and came to the rescue and are we glad we did! Jada is a gorgeous one and half year old, 51 lb. brindle boxer mix. When a volunteer walks into the yard and she is at the other end, Jada will come running to say hi. She loves being around people and also has a blast playing with her doggie friends, especially Mitch, who came to STAF with her. After playing their hearts out, they will plop to the ground right next to each other. She is always up for a walk and is great on a leash. She will sometimes plop down for a back scratch on the grass but then she's ready to start walking again! Jada is very deserving of a loving, active home with a fenced in yard for her to romp around in. If you think that might be you, please let us know. You will be asked to return for at least one follow-up visit, then take the dog home for a trial period before officially adopting. • You must be 21 years or older to adopt from STAF. • We require a 4-foot-tall physical fence for homes with children under the age of 11. We also may require a physical fence for specific dogs on a case-by-case basis, depending on each dog’s behavior and exercise needs. • Due in part to increasing coyote activity/incidents in the area and the difficulty of predicting how a dog will respond to invisible fence training, we can not adopt to homes with invisible fences. • We do request vet and personal references. • We can facilitate adoptions within a 30-mile radius of our Cincinnati-based shelter.
