ADOPTED 4-25-09, thank you Donna of Chehalis, WA! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~In 4-8-09, owner surrender. Had purchased puppy as a 9 week old from a breeder in Alabama. Thought it would be a good idea to get a puppy to raise with the impending child. Puppy reached 10 months old before baby was born, and that's when the new mom said, OUT with the dog! He spent the next year and a half in a pen outside in the backyard with a doggie door into the garage. He hasn't been out of that pen in a year and a half. He has been leash trained. He knows no basic obedience, he isn't housebroken (currently) and he wasn't neutered. He has some minor frostbite on the bottom section of his right ear. Unsightly, but not significant. He is a lover, not a fighter. He's scared of everything right now. First thing we did was a thorough scrubbing, next thing he got neutered. He'll go to his foster home and settle in and then we'll update this site. He will be staying with a member of the Inland Northwest S & R team, and basic training/housebreaking will be started. NICE 2 yr old AKC papered purebred, weighing in at 100.7#'s. Solid red in color. Bloodhound savvy home ONLY need apply. In other words, you MUST know the breed, have experience with them and a proper home to offer, or please don't apply.
