My Story

When Jack Skellington came to us in October, he was skinny minny and all dirty from living the life of a stray. Now that this 50 pound almost 4 year old boy has had some baths and groceries, he's turned into a stud muffin!! Jack LOVES toys. He loves playing tug-of-war with you, but is equally good at entertaining himself with his beloved toys. He is also highly treat motivated, making training a fun and rewarding experience for him and his future family. He knows "sit", "lay down" and "base" (a cue to go lay in his bed) and could no doubt expand his bag of tricks with training. And since he's a strong boy, he's still working on his manners. He spent time in a short-term foster and his foster mom liked to call him Bobby, which he learned to listen to. This awesome dude is also dog friendly! He sometimes forgets how big he is and can get carried away and over excited, making him accidentally play a little rough sometimes. What Jack loves most of all is people! He's an extremely affectionate, people friendly guy who absolutely loves to cuddle. He loves his foster home, but longs for for the days when he'll have a person or family to call his own. Come meet this handsome, friendly, bubbly, happy goof ball with the sweetest eyes! When Jack Skellington came to us in October, he was skinny minny and all dirty from living the life of a stray.
