Jack is a purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He is very small, like a "mini" Corgi....he weighs only 13 lbs !! And is ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE! ~~ He was rescued from an Amish puppy mill in Ohio and is about 4 yrs old, tho he looks and acts much younger. He is playful, wiggly, and bouncy. Jack is a little timid at first with strangers but warms up quickly with a little love and patience. ~~ We are looking for an adult only home for Jack, as he is so small. He would likely be overwhelmed by the noise & chaos of young children running all over. ~~ He is now working on housetraining and on walking on a leash. ~~ Jack is curious & playful w/ our cat. He gets along fine with other dogs, as long as they dont try to steal his supper -- he is a typical Corgi all right!! ~~ Jack is being fostered near Pittsburgh PA, so a potential adopter would have to be willing to go there to meet him. ~~ NOTE: We require a securely fenced yard for dog adoptions, and never those shock collar based "invisible fencing systems."
