Jack Black PC

Meet Jack Black PC I was found on a hike and bike trail in Goliad, Texas. It’s unclear if I was there to bike or hike, but I think you can by process of elimuttnation know that I was there to hike. Obviously! I don’t own a bike. The human hikers who found me, did all the right stuff, called around, and even took me to the Veterinarian. They can’t keep me though and now I’m ready to “hunt” for a home. I’m using the word “hunt” in quotes because the rescue ladies collectively decided I’m likely a combo of two hunting breeds the Weimaraner and the black Labrador Retriever. Or just a black Weimaraner which is totally a thing some times. In general I’m a happy little dude. Not too “little“ though, weighing 45 pounds at under a year, so I might still grow some. My best feature is my ears. If they were human earrings they’d be shoulder dusters. Velvet pendants of perfection draping forward and framing my adorable nose, which is actually the most important body part of a dog, because you can smell bacon with your nose, you cannot hear it, unless it’s sizzling so that’s not helping my point, but anyway my ears and nose are very fine. See! *pauses so you can check out his ears and nose* Foster Mom Patricia has an entire pack of rescue dogs here and they’ve accepted me, so I get along with all types of dogs. One of the dogs here named Ranger has already initiated friendship mode with me because we’re around the same age and both fun. I will wait here at Foster Mom’s until someone chooses me to be their hiking side kick or wing man, but in my case the wings are ears, so I’ll be your ear man.
