Hi, my name is Jack, and I am looking for a loving indoor home. I have learned to walk nicely on a leash! Boy I love my walks, and if there are no other dogs around, my rescuer lets me run like the wind, because I never go too far from her. I always come when called! I have been good with all dogs so far, but I love attention, and need to learn to take my turn when I want attention. I currently have a fenced in back yard where I have room to run, and I occasionally have the need to jump the fence to go sit on the front porch and watch the walkers go by. I never leave my house though. The neighbors tell me I'm a great dog! Even when I chase the squirrels and rabbits, they still like me. So if you have a Heart of Gold, and the Patience of a Saint, why not call and ask about meeting me?

Hi, am Sheri and I rescued Jack from living in a chicken coop the first 2 years of his life. He is now 3-4 years old. When I rescued him, he'd had zero training. He would run in circles when a leash was put around his neck until he was a ball of fur that couldn't move. After a couple of weeks of walking he quickly learned what a walk was about. I do trust Jack to let him off the leash. He has no desire to leave, and will be the same with anyone who adopts him, after trust has been established.
Jack was afraid off people when I first got him, and it took some time before he would let me hold his head and kiss his nose or face. He will need his new owners to give him that little bit of space as well. I also don't know how he will do around young kids, so I'd prefer no small children in his new family. Also, NO CATS!!!!!!!! He unfortunately bit my cats so he should not go to a home with cats either.

He is UTD on all shots, and is neutered.
He will need help with potty training, although he is crate trained.
I'd love to have him go to a home with dog training experience.
I would be willing to help pay for obedience classes, but there is a $70.00 adoption fee.
