My Story

May 10, 2006: I'm adopted!!!! And I am so happy!! They love me!!! I want to thank everyone who helped find me my new home. I have 2 little girls to play with. Olivia is too small still but Gabriela and I run all over the place. Our house has a fenced back yard and now that the weather is nice the door is open and I get to go in and out and in and out! It is near the beach so we get to go there every day and to the farm where my new owner trains horses. Now that I come when I am called I get to be off the leash sometime and run around like crazy. I even know some new tricks. I have my mat in the house right beside the fireplace. I am still camera shy and I am a little worried about going in the car but I am starting to feel a bit more confident about that too. Boy life is good!!
Thanks to all!

March 2006:
Jack has gone to the island to live with a wonderful family who hope to adopt him but just want to make sure their home is the right one for him first. Hope you like the island Jack!

This boy is now with TnT Rescue in a very temporary foster home. We are hoping to find him a more permanent foster home, or better yet, a forever adoptive home so please contact us if you can help!

Here is what his foster family has to say about him so far:
Jack is a beautiful chocolate horsecoat with an adorable face, and a personality that will make your heart melt. Jack is sweet, submissive and afraid, possibly due to his recent say at the shelter, but he has already calmed down after one night at his foster parents house and is making up for lost sleep. Jack is responding well to gentle calm voices and gentle leading with a leash and will need lots of calm loving treatment in his future home. He is afraid of his foster brothers and sisters, who are a rather noisy, lively and confident group! At present Jack would be best as the only dog in a home. Jack loves food and needs to put on weight. He is house trained and easy to lead, and has tested as "good with children" and other dogs. Jack is enjoying the quiet of a home after the noise of the shelter and he will be a loving and grateful pet for his adopter.

Upon Arrival:
This boy was found as a stray by the Coquitlam SPCA and no one came to take him home. By the looks of things he needs a home that will take better care of him than his last one did. He was underweight and very timid around new people when found. He is doing much better now that he is in a loving foster home and enjoying all the papering that comes with a loving environment.

If you have a place in your heart and your home please contact us about meeting this boy.
If you are interested in fostering him on a temporary basis until he finds a permanent home please contact us here.

Thank you to Adam and Cheryl who have taken Jack into their already full home until another place for him can be found. Adam and Cheryl will keep us posted on how Jack is doing as they get to know him and we will post updates here as well as new photos as we receive them.
