Jack is 10 months old in these pictures taken in November 2009. He is a very shy boy who still hasn't recovered from being given up by his owners. They gave him up when one of them went into a nursing home. We have been working with Jack as much as we can at LP. Before we can work with him we have to get him out from under the bed. That just isn't a life for a dog for sure. He has come around a bit but we really believe that he would thrive once he got into a home with more one on one.
Jack is paper trained we know but not sure if he is housebroken. He tentatively will walk on a leash and instead prefers being curled up on your lap once you can get him out from underneath the bed. The teen volunteers have been working with him and he loves to cuddle with them. We are recommending a quiet home with NO SMALL children.
On October 21, 2009, Jack was tested for Heartworm/Lyme/Ehrlichia, given his rabies, was neutered, and was micro chipped. He is on HW preventative.
