Meet Happy Jack! Jack is a three year old male Greater Swiss Mountain Dog/Hound mix who needs an active family to call his own. He has a short black plush coat with rich mahogany and white highlights. His pictures don’t even do him justice! Jack would definitely prefer a home with another dog and some kids to play with…He loves them all! He is working on restraining his love for cats a bit, though. You see, Happy Jack thinks everyone and everything he meets is his new best friend—And not all cats share in that feeling. Jack would probably do best in a home where he didn’t have to be left alone for long periods of time. He just loves people's companionship way too much to go all day without it! Jack would make the perfect companion to join in the fun at your local dog park or even to pursue therapy work with. He will gladly melt into the nearest lap for his share of love and affection. Jack has a very calm manner about him but loves to run and play. He really is the perfect family companion. Jack loves chew toys and does need to have a few available for his chewing pleasure. Happy Jack isn’t the least bit toy or food possessive, though. He would be more than glad to share his things with the other members of the household. He is completely housebroken and is also crate-trained. Jack is currently enrolled in a basic obedience class where he will be polishing up his manners and basic commands so that he can show them off for his new home! Could it be yours?
